Our experience helping our clients drive positive behavior change outcomes has been captured in a product we call The Nudge Machine. This a Cloud based software-as-a-service platform that can be applied to a wide variety of uses, in particular, those that involve the orchestrating of loosely associated actors towards achieving a goal. Applications include integrating IOT sensors, such as those used for biofeedback, to then initiate an appropriate response. In a COVID-19 world this could be alert to an office manager that physical distancing compliance has been breached in a specific location.

Processes can be modeled using your preferred business analysts toolkit and then automated as a Cloud based service.

Process execution can be inspected in real-time and displayed as a linear time line in a client application.
Nudge Machine
Actors are prompted to participate in the workflow via a nudge machine. Participants in the workflow are characterized by a role and the machine will instruct what activities is expected of what role based on the specific state of the workflow. Changes in workflow state trigger outbound messaging to then prompt what the next Actor should do – A B C.
Orchestration
The nudges form a stream of events that then allow our Nudge Machine to choreograph the entire workflow by orchestrating the action of each Actor.
Nudge
Actors perform permitted actions according to their roles. This changes the state of the transaction. State change triggers generation of an outbound message – nudge- to roles interested in that state change. Users can control what messaging channels are allowed both at a platform wide level, e.g. allow email? or for a specific transaction, e.g. is informed?
